Work in STEM? I'd love to talk to you.

I'm a high school student interviewing women and others in STEM careers and posting the conversations as videos so students can learn what these jobs actually involve.

What it involves

  • A 30 to 45 minute video call (Google Meet works great)

  • Questions sent in advance, so nothing catches you off guard

  • A relaxed conversation, not a formal interview

  • A chance to review the edited video before anything goes public

What I'm hoping to ask about

What you actually do day to day. How you ended up in your specific role. What's hard, what's rewarding, what surprised you. The kind of stuff that doesn't fit on a job description but rather is specific to each person and their path.

Who I'm looking for

Anyone working in science, technology, engineering, or math, at any career stage. I prioritize women because the visibility gap is real, but I'm not strict about it. Early-career voices are just as valuable as senior ones, often more so.

What you'd be doing

Helping a student you've never met figure out what's possible, and helping a lot of other students who'll watch later.
